Glossybox October Beauty Box*

Glossybox seriously impressed me last month with their collaboration box with Red Magazine. I loved the variety of the products inside and I finally tried TooFaced Better Than Sex mascara (I even ended up buying the full size version I love the mascara so much!) so I thought this months box would be hard to beat. This box has been a very mediocre box for me as none of the products have ‘wowed’ me.

This months box is in collaboration with Estee Lalonde and is called the ‘Discovery Edit’ which showcases some of her favourite products in addition to a mystery hair care brand (which she’s revealed on her blog here). This box has skincare; make-up, body care and hair care products.

Trifle Cosmetics Lip Parfait Buttery Lip Cream - Full Size RRP £12.95

This lip parfait by Trifle cosmetics is a lipstick, which can also be used as a lip treatment. It’s infused with cocoa butter to keep your lips feeling plump and hydrated all day long. Even though I really like this lipstick, I can’t say I am a fan of the cardboard packaging.

The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate - RRP £25

I’m always really impressed with any product I’ve tried from the Body Shop and this serum is no different. This serum is perfect to soften, smooth and brighten your skin and I like using a drop of this with my foundation when I’m applying my make-up first thing in the morning. You can also use this at night for a bit of an overnight treatment.

Universal Beauty Cosmetics - Secret Flush, Soothing Cream Blusher & Lip Stain Duo - £15

I’ve never head of Universal Beauty Cosmetics before but I’m a little obsessed with the packaging of this. I’m trying to get more into using blushers and I really like this as a little goes a long way. This is a great product to fit in your handbag for when you’re on the go too!
PS...PRO HD Mascara Black - RRP £3

Over the past few months I’ve noticed Primark beauty featuring more and more online and so I was looking forward to trying this. After trying this mascara, I’m not overwhelmed by it, but it’s the sort of mascara I will use if It’s a backup in my handbag and I need a top up when I’m on the go.

I’ll let you into a secret, when this first arrived in the post I ran out of shampoo and so I used this straight away! I didn’t know it was head and shoulders shampoo, but I was super glad when it was. Head & Shoulder’s is an amazing hair care brand and my scalp has been so dry lately it gave me the boost my hair needed.

Bee Good Honey & Camelina Facial Exfoliator - £10.50

What I really like about Bee Good products is they’re suitable for all skin types and the products smell AMAZING. This product exfoliates dull skin cells without being irritating. This exfoliator is infused with Lavender and wheatgerm oil, which helps to sooth and moisturise your skin.

Overall, this box hasn't been a stand out for me. Last months box was my favourite and hopefully I'll be obsessed with next months box! If you're a fan of Estee and the products she uses then I'd recommend this box if you're looking to treat yourself.

You can sign up to Glossybox for £10 a month + P&P here.

I love Estee and I think it's a great box. I would definitely use most of those products.
