Beauty: Glossybox Red Magazine September Edition Review

Glossybox September Edition*

I’m going to make a bold statement here and say that this months Glossybox might just be my favourite EVER beauty box from Glossybox. I was BEYOND impressed when I opened this months box in the post and was so excited as the contents are absolutely amazing.

Glossybox September Edition

As much as I am a huge fan of beauty boxes and especially Glossyboxes, this month’s edition really has blown me away. This months box includes products from Revlon, Too Faced, Philosophy and Rodial.

Philosophy Amazing Grace Firming Body Emulsion
Philosophy is definitely a more higher end brand but every product I’ve tried from Philosophy has been really good. This firming body emulsion is made of Philosophy’s best selling product ‘amazing grace’. When you want a pamper evening to yourself, I like to use this after a shower and I think this is the ultimate treat.

I probably paint my nails once or twice a week but I ALWAYS use the same top coat (even though I have never been overly keen on it). I was delighted to see a top coat in this months box and I absolutely love this top coat. It can make any matte nail polish look like it has a gel finish too! I think this is a real beauty staple as it even reduces the chances of chipping your nails (winner!)

 Body Shop Purifying Glow Mask

Who doesn’t love an extra freebie? What’s better then one facemask? TWO. I absolutely love facemasks and I own the rose petal mask from the latest body shop collection so I’m super excited to try this one.

 Vitamasques Hydro Face Mask

I’ve literally just used this mask and my skin literally feels as soft as a baby’s bum (well it’s pretty soft anyway) and my skin feels hydrated too. This mask is inspired by Korean technology and it claims to keep your skin hydrated for up to 120 hours. I really think it’s worth investing in facemasks (like this one) for when you want to give your skin some TLC.

This was 100% the best pick in this months box and I have fallen a little bit in love with this mascara. The only thing which is (not) so good is that Too Faced is not a brand that’s easy to get hold of especially when you don’t live near a Debenhams! I love the way this mascara separates my lashes and makes them look long and volumised. I’ve never got the hype around mascara launches (e.g. Benefit, L’Oreal etc.) but this mascara I would 100% buy the full size.

 Rodial Smokey Eye Pen

Rodial is definitely more of a higher end brand and I was surprised to see this in this months box (but also delighted at the same time!) The deep Smokey eye is a trend that’s coming back and this pencil is going to become your new best friend. You can create neat lines or blend it out to create a Smokey finish. A bonus is that this pencil is creamy in texture too.

All the products seem amazing. I'm really intrigued by that The Body Shop face mask, I might try it out.
