Beauty: 5 Beauty Products I'm Loving ft Clarins & Laura Mercier

Wednesday, April 26, 2017

I thinking this post will be the start of a mini series or series on my blog called 5 things I’m loving. They may not be holy grail products or products you just NEED to have in your life, but they’re products I am loving and reaching for right now. One things for sure I will make sure in these posts to cover all bases, so you won’t see a post with completely one type of product. This post includes an eyebrow favourite, perfume, base, bronzer and loose powder.

Clarins Everlasting Foundation + in 110 Honey – £27 from Boots

This foundation is literally the foundation of my dreams. I discovered this about 2 months ago now (thanks to my Boots points) and I absolutely love it. This foundation stays on my face all day, doesn’t crease and gives me a matte finish without drying my skin out. This foundation is moisturising, hydrating and blends like a dream. If you’re in the market for a new foundation and your have normal/dry skin I would 100% recommend trying this out.

Anastasia Beverley Hills Dip Brow Pomade in Dark Brown - £15 from Cult Beauty

For everyday wear, I don’t actually reach for my dip brow pomade but I do love using this. I think it’s great for when you have a little bit more time to do your make up or for when you want to go for a more bolder and defined look with your eyebrows. On a daily basis I use the
L'Oreal Paris Brow Xpert Pencil which I adore, it reminds me of the Benefit goof proof brow pencil for a very small fraction of the price. I use a small eyebrow brush for the pomade and you literally need the smallest amount to fill in your eyebrows with. You need to use a light hand otherwise you’ll end up looking like you have caterpillar eyebrows!

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder - £29 from Feel Unique

This translucent loose powder is the powder of dreams. I feel like everyone reading this post right now seriously needs this in his or her lives. I use this powder everyday without fail to set my concealer and on my nose (as that’s where I’m normally a little oily) and this powder has not let me down. It’s completely worth the money and if you struggle to get your make up to stay on different parts of your face (like me and my nose) this powder will save the day.
Chloe Love Story Eau Sensuelle EDP Spray - £40 from Fragrance Direct*
Who doesn’t love a new perfume? I have always wanted to try a Chloe perfume and this scent is gorgeous. This scent is really fresh and is perfect for the spring/summer months as it is very light. With notes of vanilla and orange blossom this fragrance is going to be a real favourite of mine for the coming months.

Bare Minerals Invisible Bronze in Tan - £25 from Boots
Finally, if you’re looking for a new bronzer then I would run to your local BareMinerals counter and try this immediately. It’s part of their new ‘Invisible’ collection, which includes bronzers, and highlighters and I adore it. I have the shade ‘tan’ which is great for my skin tone. There’s a huge mirror in this compact too which makes it perfect for when you’re on the go.

What beauty products are you loving at the moment? Have you tried out any of these products?
