Wearing that special wedding ring

Tuesday, August 24, 2010

Every girl waits for that day when she feels she's found the right boyfriend she'd like to spend the rest of her life with. I suppose it's a great feeling picking out that engagement ring for the love of your life, one that you may never experience again. So isn't it right that you make the right decision?

You have done all of the research you can handle, from checking out loose diamonds to engagement rings in gold, platinum, and other precious metals. It is time, and you have narrowed it down to a few possibilities that you think that she will love. You must do yourself a favor in this process; check online to see if one of the many online retailers has what you need, by doing so you may be able to save yourself a lot of money. Because of the low overhead that these retailers deal with, they are able to pass some of their savings on to the consumer which is a breath of fresh air that you do not always see in the retail market.

Tips on what not to do when picking out an Engagement Ring:

- Do not try and resell a customized ring, who wants a ring with 'i love you Amy, John&Amy forever' engraved on it?
- Do not go beyond your budget for buying a ring.
- Pick the right style which you'd be happy to wear for the rest of your life.
- Look out for tips from Him/Her as they'll drop hints to what they'd like on their engagement/wedding rings!

Have all my married readers got funny engagement stories? How did you get engaged? Do you like your wedding/engagement rings?
