Spring Essentials from Fragrance Direct

Tuesday, April 23, 2019

If you've followed me for a while, you'll know I am a huge fan of Fragrance Direct. I find that it's such a user-friendly site and I'm always able to find a bargain. I use it for when I'm looking for a gift for a loved one (obviously a fragrance) but sometimes just to treat myself to something new as I'm able to find it at a discounted price (e.g Huda Beauty!!) So for today's post I've teamed up with Fragrance Direct to show you all my spring essentials! So let's begin...

[ad - gifted] Dermalogica Dry Skin Essentials Kit - £30.95
When it gets to the spring/summer months I always try and up my skincare game. Over the past year, I've tried a few Dermalogica products (and loved them) so I thought this kit was a bargain as everything suits my skin type but also these were all deluxe sample sizes of products so I can really try out the product before considering to buy the full size. This kit includes a 50ml Special Cleansing Gel, 50ml Multi-Active Toner, 22ml Skin Smoothing Cream, 10ml Gentle Cream Exfoliant, 4ml Intensive Eye Repair as well as 2 samples of Pre Cleanse and Hydrating Masques. I can guarantee my skin is going to get some serious TLC over the coming week's thanks to this kit!

[ad - gifted] Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Sunshine 50ml - £46.95

If you know me well, you'll know I am a huge fan of the Marc Jacobs fragrances. I find them so wearable no matter what the occasion or season. If you've smelt Daisy Love before you'll know it's a bright, summery fragrance which has notes of cloudberries, cashmere and driftwood which makes it a sweet but not an overpowering scent. With Daisy Love Sunshine, however, these notes differ and consist of bergamot which makes this scent a little more on the citrus side. I have to say, if I had to pick between the two, I couldn't as they both smell incredible!

I've been dying to try this fragrance from Emporio Armani for the longest time. This is one of the newer fragrances from Armani with notes of black cherry, jasmine and vanilla. This is a sweet but (not too sweet) scent with a hint of sensuality. I really like this fragrance and have worn this a few times so far, this is my 'going out' fragrance at the moment and my boyfriend even said he loved it! It's a perfect treat (to yourself) or for a loved one to buy you for those special events you have planned throughout the spring/summer months.

[ad - gifted] Clarins Gentle Eye Make-up Remover 125ml  - RRP £21, £18 on Fragrance Direct

One thing I've always loved about Fragrance Direct is that it's a great one-stop style place to be able to get your favourite brands at discounted prices (including Clarins, MAC, Elizabeth Arden) and I was so excited to see they stocked this eye makeup remover from Clarins as it's incredible! This remover contains soya which helps to strengthen your eyelashes and has a light floral scent. What's great about this make-up remover is that it's suitable for all skin types too! Eye make-up remover is a real essential for me all year round (especially spring/summer) when I like to wear waterproof mascara!

[ad - gifted] Huda Beauty Lip Contour Set in Spice Girl & Venus - £28.95
Can you believe that Huda Beauty is available on Fragrance Direct? Me neither! I was looking for a new nude lipstick to last me throughout spring/summer as I was a little fed up of wearing the same two nude lipsticks over and over. This kit includes two matte lipstick minis as well as the lip pencil in 'spice girl'. As you can see from the swatches in the photo above, all the colours are really suited towards my olive skin tone which I was SO happy with!

[ This post is in collaboration with Fragrance Direct but all thoughts, views and opinions are my own]

What do you think of my spring essentials? Have you tried any of these products?
