Stocking Filler Ideas for A Beauty Lover

Sunday, December 09, 2018

Christmas is a time for giving and (receiving) but mainly giving right? However, I know there will be lots of you reading this which will need a few extra ideas for when it comes to gifting this year or just ideas for what you may want yourself. So here’s the first instalment of the ‘gift guides’ that are coming your way. There will be a men’s gift guide, women’s beauty gift guide and of course this post which is stocking filler ideas.
So onto the fun part… stocking fillers, well my interpretation of ‘stocking fillers’ are all under the £50 mark and can be seen as an ‘added extra’ to a loved ones Christmas. I thought I’d make this post beauty themed, as everyone needs to pamper them selves at Christmas.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Gift Set - £24.95 from Fragrance Direct*
Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream is the product you never knew you needed in your life. I never go anywhere without 8 hour cream in my bag as it’s literally a lifesaver. So this gift set is perfect for the beauty lover or the novice, who doesn’t know that they NEED this.  Inside this gift set there is a 50ml Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant (worth £27), Eight Hour Cream Lip Protectant (worth £20) as well as Eight Hour Cream Intensive Hand Treatment (worth £10). Which makes this gift set and absolute BARGAIN. Also, FYI if you don’t know about Eight Hour Cream, you need to read my blog post here
NARS Orgasm Infatuation Palette - £35 from ASOS
I saw this palette a little while ago in a Jamie Genevieve video and I knew I had to have it so I had been keeping an eye on the new in ASOS Beauty page until it appeared and to my delight when they recently had 20% off I managed to pick this palette up! First of all how stunning is this packaging?! It’s rose gold and screams Christmas.

NARS Orgasm Infatuation Palette - £35 from ASOS
Inside this palette there is a blusher, highlighter and bronzer and so this is a perfect product for when you’re travelling/streamlining your makeup bag. I have to say, I’ve been using this for about 3 weeks now and I am VERY impressed with all three elements of this palette, so if you can get your hands on this, this would be a great gift for a loved one (or yourself) this Christmas.

L'Occitane My Comforting Essentials Gift Set - £12 from L'Occitane*
First of all, how cute is this gift set?! This is perfect stocking filler gift but also for when you go on holiday as all these products are travel size! The shea butter range is one of my favourite ranges that L’Occitane do as it’s so nourishing on the skin.

One thing I love about L’Occitane products is how ‘luxury’ their products are. I think their products look a lot more expensive then they actually are which is what makes their products great when it comes to gifting. Can you believe this set is only £12? It includes three energising Verbena surprises including soap, hand cream and body lotion. This set also comes in a gorgeous keepsake star tin, which makes it ideal for a stocking filler gift.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Palette - £46 from Cult Beauty
Right on the cusp of £50, this palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills is an absolute treat. First of all, the packaging is NEXT LEVEL I mean gold and brown glitter?! Could this be any more perfect for Christmas? I think not. The shadows are a gorgeous array of shades too, which are perfect for daytime and nighttime looks. So if you have a smokey/nude eye make up lover to buy for, this palette will do this trick.

Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette - £42 from Escentual*
Probably the most hyped up palette release of 2018, you’ll be silly not to buy this palette for the beauty lover in your life this Christmas (or yourself). One thing I love about Urban Decay is how pigmented their eye shadows are. I think I have pretty much every palette they have released in the past 5 years and this palette by far is one of my favourites. The purple shades are surprisingly wearable and so so easy to blend to create amazing daytime and nighttime looks.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Eyeshadow Palette - £39 from Charlotte Tilbury
How gorgeous is this Charlotte Tilbury palette?! I still can’t get over how beautiful this is. I think this is a great palette for daytime looks especially as the shadows are very subtle. What’s great about Charlotte Tilbury palettes is how ‘luxury’ the products are and so who ever you buy this for will literally love your forever.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Powder in Universal - £33 from Charlotte Tilbury*
Another fail-safe product when it comes to Christmas gifting are products from Charlotte Tilbury. You can never go wrong with Charlotte Tilbury products for a beauty lover and this powder in particular will ensure that you’re glowing during the Christmas period. One thing I love about this powder is how lightweight it is and how it applies flawlessly. So if you’re looking for a product for a beauty lover, which they can easily use on a daily basis, then this will do the trick.

When it comes to tanning products, Vita Liberata is my favourite brand to use. One thing I love about this tan is how natural it looks so if you just want that ‘natural’ golden glow, this is incredible. This is a great stocking filler for any fake tan lover, but even for a treat for yourself to make sure you are glowing over the Christmas period.
What beauty products are on your wish list? Out of all the products in this gift guide which one is your favourite?
