Violet Voss x Laura Lee Palette - £40 from Beauty Bay
If there’s a brand that I think deserves more credit in the beauty blogging / YouTube world it’s Violet Voss. The eye shadows that the brand creates are some of the best eye shadows I have EVER tried and the quality of them is absolutely amazing, especially for the price.

Violet Voss x Laura Lee Palette - £40 from Beauty Bay
I’m a bit of an eye shadow addict as I have 3 of the 6 palettes that are currently available at Violet Voss. I love the Holy Grail palette and more recently, for my birthday I received the Nicol Concilio palette which, I absolutely love and you can check out my review on that palette here.

Despite having never watched the Blogger/YouTube star Laura Lee before I was drawn to this palette. This palette consists of 20 warm toned matte and shimmer eye shadows, which are perfect for both daytime and nighttime. What I love about this palette is that it’s ideal to create any ‘warm’ eye shadow look and how insanely pigmented the shimmer shades are. So without further a do here are my favourite shadows from the palette and swatches...

Mama Bird and Raga Muffin (I love that name) are my favourite shades I like to use to build up my crease. I find that these shades both make good bases. As well as including matte shades, this eye shadow palette includes shimmer shades and oh boy are the shimmer shades impressive. This is the shade ‘Hissy Fit’ which I think is a stunning shade, which can be worn during the day or a night to make a look have that perfect sparkle.
These three shades (L-R Bitty, 1988 and Rammer Jammer) are without a doubt  my favourite three shades in the whole palette. With just one swipe with my finger you can see how incredibly pigmented these shadows are and I’m starting to think that 1988 might just be the prettiest colour I’ve ever seen.

Finally, we have Alabama, Britches and Smashlee. Alabama, to me is such a gorgeous deep brown shade which adds in the right amount of depth to my crease and Britches is a great colour to wear all over your lids. For a more daring look, we have Smashlee and have you ever seen a green shimmer shade so stunning?

Overall, I am beyond impressed with this palette and if you’re a nude/warm toned palette kind of girl/person then you NEED to try this out as it’s one of the only palettes I reach for right now.

What do you think of this palette? Have you tried any of the Violet Voss palettes?
