Beauty: My Stila Makeup Collection

Tuesday, March 14, 2017

Stila is a brand, which I think is incredibly underrated in the beauty blogging world. Stila is on the more affordable side of an upper market beauty brand and the quality of their products is incredible and isn’t the packaging gorgeous? Despite being a fan of Stila products for a long time I don’t think I’ve written about them as much as I probably should have done so I thought for todays post I’d show you all some of my favourite Stila products!

If you’re a fan of nude/champagne/brown eyeshadows this is the palette for you. It’s a palette I reach for regularly (you can see I’ve hit pan on a few shades) and the colours in this palette are stunning. My favourite is Kitten as I use this as an inner corner highlight on my eyes or sometimes as a highlighter under my brow bone and not just as an eye shadow. This palette is great to create everyday looks as well night time looks and the palette has a huge mirror as well.

Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter Liquid Eyeshadow in Gold Goddess - £23*
Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter Liquid Eyeshadow in Dimond Dust - £23*

I was so excited about finally owning these Stila liquid glitter eye shadows I forgot to take a close up photo of the products I just have photos of the swatches! But as you can see the pay off and pigmentation of these liquid eye shadows is incredible.  If you’re someone who loves experimenting with their eye looks then you need these in your life. I think these liquid eye shadows are great for adding that little bit of extra drama to your make up look and who doesn’t love a bit of glitter? I am so desperate to use these on my next night out!

What I really love about Stila eye shadow palettes is that they have a great luxury feel to them. I mean, who doesn’t love rose gold packaging? I love how these palettes look a lot more expensive then they are too. Aside from Soul, I also have the Spirit and Mind palettes from the eyes are the window range. Spirit is a shimmer filled palette with gorgeous shades to create daytime and night time looks. However mind is for when I’m feeling even more adventurous with my eye shadow looks as who doesn’t love a matte eye shadow?!

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Angelo - £16*
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Dolce - £16

Another product by Stila, which I think is really underrated in the beauty blogging world, is their matte liquid lipsticks. I really love using both these shades (despite being madly in love with the BareMinerals liquid lipsticks at the moment) as they are really moisturising and pigmented. If I had to pick a favourite shade out of the two, it would be Dolce but Angelo is great for a light, everyday look.

What do you think of Stila products? Have you tried any? Have you got any makeup recommendations?
