Beauty: The Beauty Faves of The Year So Far Budget + High-end

Wednesday, August 31, 2016

2016 has been a year of some great beauty discoveries and I’ve found some firm favourites, which I am going to love for years and years to come. I love creating posts like this, as there are so many of you, which love them! I love reading posts like this too as I always discover new beauty products to try out (or add to my forever growing beauty wish-list.)

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer - £17.50
This concealer is the absolute dream. I can't get over how good this concealer is! It covers any sign of redness, dark circles or any spots you need covering. This is the only concealer i've used which doesn't crease too. I love this concealer so much that I dedicated a whole blog post to it (which you can read here.)
Urban Decay Lip Liner in Conspiracy  - £13.50
My favourite lip liner at the moment which is from Urban Decay. Conspiracy is a shade that’s been in Urban Decay’s lip section for such a long time but it’s always out of stock when I’ve tried to get my hands on it. It’s a gorgeous shade of nude and it’s my ‘my lips but better shade’.
Pixi Correction Concentrate - £14
This is a product I have discovered thanks to my Love Me Beauty subscription and it's definitely turned into a firm favourite of mine.Pixi is probably a slightly harder brand to get hold of as on the high street I have only seen it available in Marks and Spencer (so it’s easier to purchase online!) This correction concentrate helps cover any sign of a dark circle under my eyes and it blends in so well too.

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Carnal - £15
I've come to the conclusion that this is one of my favourite lipsticks (and that's a bold statement as I really like lipsticks) this shade from Urban Decay is limited edition and exclusive to Selfridges and it's an absolute dream. It's super moisturising and pigmented and stays on my lips for a really long time.

TheBalm Mary Lou Manizer - £16
The Mary Lou Manizer from theBalm is possibly the best highlighter you’ll ever buy. I’ve had this in my life for about a year now and I use it most days. I’ve read a lot online that it’s a dupe for the Becca Champagne Pop Highlighter (but I’m yet to try that out!) If you’re in the market for a new highlighter and a good highlighter you won’t regret picking this up.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in 2W1 - £30
Do I need to rave about this foundation any more? Since having this foundation in my life I’ve not tried another foundation and I doubt I will. I absolutely love this foundation and it’s got the best coverage too. If you’re a girl who loves a medium/full coverage foundation this is the dream foundation for you.

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette - £18
I feel like Zoeva is a brand that doesn’t get enough recognition in the beauty blogging industry. I find that the brushes are talking about 24/7 but the palettes and other make-up products are very underrated. Having said that, this is the only Zoeva palette I own (even though I am lusting after this one!) but this cocoa palette is absolutely beautiful. The eyeshadows are so pigmented, they last so long on your eyes and it looks a bit like a dupe for the Anastasia Modern Renaisance palette and it’s a fraction of the price!
Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden - £16
If you need your eyeshadow to last all day this primer potion from Urban Decay is your go-to. It's super easy to apply (and you only need a tiny amount for it to cover your eyelids) and when I really want my make-up to last this is all that I use.
What do you think of my beauty favourites? Have you tried out any of these products?

I've never tried any of those products but I really want to try the Mary Lou Manizer highlighter and the Urban Decay concealer. That eyeshadow palette looks amazing! I had never really seen it even though I had heard about it.
