Beauty: Budget Friendly Eyeshadow Palettes Worth Buying

Thursday, July 28, 2016

Right now there are so many budget eye shadow palettes on the high street and it’s hard to figure out which palettes are a waste of money and which palettes work. I’ve gone through a fair few make-up palettes in my time and I thought I’d put this post together to show you all the budget eye shadow palettes I reach for regularly.

If there’s one thing I’m obsessed with at the moment it’s eyeshadow palettes from Make-up Revolution. When I spied this one recently in Superdrug I knew I had to have it in my life. I really like the colour range in this palette and it consists of 8 matte and 8 glitter shades for only £6.99. This palette has been compared to the Anastasia Beverley Hills Modern Reniassance palette and this one is a fraction of the price so it’s well worth picking up.

W7 The Naughty Nine Mid Summer Nights Palette - £3.25 from Ebay (plus free postage)
W7 is a brand that is known for their incredibly make-up dupes for higher-end products and this eyeshadow palette reminds me a lot of the MAC 9 quad eyeshadow palette but the only difference is this palette is only £3.25! With 5 glitter shades and 4 matte shades, this palette is great for taking your make-up looks from day-night.
This make-up palette is genuinely one of my favourite make-up products I’ve ever bought. I absolutely love this palette and I’ve used this palette pretty much everyday. First of all 30 shades for £9.99? Absolute bargain! I’ve blogged about this palette and you can read the post hereI absolutely love the colour range in this palette and how depending on your mood you can create pretty much any kind of make-up look you want. I love creating pink looks, golden looks and also dark green looks.
Sleek is known for their amazing quality eyeshadow palettes and this ‘all night long’ palette is my favourite from them. The eyeshadows are so pigmented and long-lasting and I love using this palette for a night out.

Maybelline The Nudes Palette - £9.99 from Boots (currently £7.99 on offer)
Another palette I think is underrated in the beauty blogging world is this palette from Maybelline. I love how more and more brands are coming out with budget eyeshadow palettes and this one is great for neutral eyeshadow lovers. My favourite shade is the 4th shade on the top row as it looks amazing when I’m creating looks for an evening out and the top left hand shade is perfect for using in your tearduct to make your eyes pop!

Have you tried any of these eyeshadow palettes? Do you have any recommendations for eyeshadow palettes worth buying?

I have to admit I do prefer higher end eye shadows especially my Too Faced Chocolate Palette and the Urban Decay Alice palette but I do love the look of the MUR New-Trals vs Neutrals Palette.

I love the Fortune Favors the brave palette. It is a perfect mix of neutrals and jewel tones. The Neutrals vs. Neutrals palette is also really pretty. I love the pigmentation and how they added in that warm brown.
