Beauty: Top 10 products under £10

Sunday, May 22, 2016

I’m a big fan of a beauty bargain. Sometimes I don’t think there is anything nicer then finding a hero beauty product and it doesn’t break the bank. I haven’t done a post like this before so I thought I would put together my top 10 make-up products I own which are under £10.

Essie Nail Polish in Fiji - £7.99
Essie nail polishes are some of my favourite nail polishes and they apply so nicely on your nails. I really like pale colours for summer (for when I get a tan) and this shade from Essie is gorgeous. It’s called Fiji and it’s a stunning pale pink shade. It doesn’t break the bank either as its only £7.99. Boots also have an offer on at the moment where if you pick up one Essie nail polish you get a free mini nail polish, which is perfect for travelling.

I’ve been searching for the perfect brow product for a long time now. I am a really big fan of the Benefit gimme brow but it’s expensive at £17.50 a time. I am really surprised I haven’t tried the brow artist plumper sooner as it’s amazing. It’s only £5.99 and it’s going to be a product I’ll repurchase over and over.

Who isn’t a fan of NYX lip products? Since arriving to the UK late last year NYX have slowly taken over. I picked this up about six months ago when I went to Manchester and visited the NYX counter there. I absolutely love this shade it’s really easy to wear, dries well on the lips and it is really pigmented. I have my eye on the shade soft spoken too, which is a gorgeous nude/pink shade.
Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and One Bronze - £4.99
If I was stuck on a dessert island and I could only pick one eye shadow to wear, I would choose this shade without a doubt. What’s great about the colour tattoo in on an on bronze is that it suits all skin tones; it is really pigmented and so easy to apply. I absolutely love wearing this and its great for when you’re in a rush and don’t have much time to do your make-up.

So Eco Bronzer Brush - Makeupbrushes*

This brush ranges in price depending on where you pick it up. I’ve seen this in TK maxx for £9.99 but its RRP is £12.  If you haven’t heard of So Eco before you’re missing out. I have a few of these brushes and they are so soft, easy to use (and clean) and this is my favourite brush by So Eco. It is so good for applying bronzer but it’s also good for applying powder.

I’ve been through about 2 or 3 of these lip liners alone in 2016. This is my go to lip liner if I want to create a nude lip. It’s quite a dark brown shade and it works really well with my skin tone.  It’s an absolute steal at £2.99 but it’s regularly sold out in Boots/Superdrug when I’ve been in to pick up a new one.

I’ve never really tried out any Bourjois products before this but now I am a big fan of the rouge edition velvets. I have only this colour, but I can’t wait to expand my collection. I really like this shade and it’s very pigmented when applied onto the lips. What I really like about this lip product is it has so serious staying power. It stays on your lips for so long (no matter if you’re eating dinner!)

Technic is a very affordable make-up brand and this mascara is an absolute steal at £1.65. I have been using this mascara a couple of weeks now and it gives my lashes so much volume.

Another product from Technic is this foundation/contour palette. I am really enjoying using cream products at the moment. I find them so easy to use, so easy to blend and this palette has such a great variety of shades.

A highlighter for £1.50? You heard it right. I am really impressed with this highlighter from Technic and its very pigmented.  It’s really easy to use and works so well in my daily make-up routine.

What are your top 10 products under £10? Have you tried out any of these products?

Love these types of posts! I have a major obsession with how great a bargain the maybelline colour tattoos are! Also I swear I'm the only person who doesn't own Fiji, I love Essie's colour shades, although they do chip easily on me, they have such stunning colours xx
