Body Shop Skincare Haul
Vitamin E Overnight Serum - £15
Vitamin E Night Cream - £13
Camomile Sumptuous Cleanser - £13
Pinita Colada Body Butter - £14 (mine is a sample size version)
A couple of weeks ago, my local body shop store held an event for local bloggers and it was a really good event and a chance to try out the products. I have heard so many good things about skincare products from the body shop but never really given many of the products a go. After a couple of hours at the event I came out with a little haul of products, which I picked up and I’m definitely a body shop convert! (Especially because of the skincare)

Vitamin E Overnight Serum Oil

Vitamin E Overnight Serum Oil

When I feel really stressed my skin gets so dry and lacks moisture. I think this past year (especially with being in my third year at university) has really tired my skin out. I’ve felt like I need to really look after my skin, give it some TLC and make sure I’m really looking after myself. This serum I’ve been using for a couple of weeks and I use it on the days when I really need it, which is about twice a week. I use this after cleansing at night and just before I use my moisturiser.

Body Shop Vitamin E Night Cream Review

Never underestimate the power of a night cream. This night cream protects, replenishes and helps to prevent the loss of moisture overnight (this is when your skin is most receptive) this is a really good cream when I’ve used it and in the morning me skin feels so much more hydrated.  This night cream is suitable for all skin types and it doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy.

The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter Review

The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter Review

This cleanser when you use it is like putting butter on your face. It’s so soft and gentle and really does remove all traces of makeup. It really helps get rid of all traces of mascara (even waterproof).  I tend to use my Liz Earle cleanser 90% of the time and when I have heavier makeup on, this is my go to cleanser.

Pinita Colada Body Butter - £14 (mine is a sample size version)

While I was at the event, I was given a goody bag with a couple of samples of products inside and it included this sample of the new pina colada body butter. I smelt this at the event and it smelled amazing. It smells like a holiday packaged up! It leaves my skin feeling nourished and hydrated. I’m saving the rest of this sample for when I’m on holiday in a couple of weeks as my skin gets super dry when I’m away and it’s sunny.

Have you tried any of these products before? What are your favourite products from the body shop?
