Top 5 Beauty Products of 2015
First of all HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE! Can you believe it's christmas eve already?! I'm beginning to put together some of my yearly round up posts for my last posts this year and first up we have my top 5 beauty products...
As you can probably tell from my posts this past year i've become really interested in beauty blogging. Fashion blogging has always been my first love but I think it's only right to stick to what I'm interested in, what I'm loving at the time rather then fashion post after fashion post. Don't worry though there will still be fashion posts! There will just be more varied content from now on.
Seems as it's the end of the year in just over a week it just seemed right to do a round up of some of my favourite beauty products which have stolen my heart and damaged my bank balance this year (although some purchases didn't really damage my bank balance!) which I thought you'd all love to see...
TheBalm Mary Lou Manizer Review
TheBalm Mary Lou Manizer Review
1. TheBalm Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter - Feel Unique
You may have noticed that the make-up brand 'TheBalm' is being talked about so much on beauty blogs lately and after years (or what feels like years) of reading about this highlighter from them I have it in my life and since i've had it i've worn it every day since. I think what's great about this highlighter is that it suits all skin tones. £17.50 is a hefty price tag but it's definitely worth the hype.
Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Review
2. Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue in Natural 05* -  available at Feel Unique
Bare Minerals is a brand I've never really tried before and boy have I fallen in love. My skin has been so dehydrated lately due to the ever changing weather conditions and this product has completely changed my skin. This product from Bare Minerals is a tinted hydrating gel cream and it works so well on my skin. What I love about it the most is that it not only moisturises my skin but it gives good coverage too. On days where I need more coverage I'll add my foundation on top of complexion rescue.
Soap and Glory Solar Powder Review
3. Soap and Glory Solar Powder - Boots
I had pretty much convinced myself that I was a Benefit Hoola Bronzer fan through and through and just over a year ago I discovered solar powder. First of all it's a Soap and Glory product (so they never disappoint) and the product is half the price compared to my previous bronzer. What I love about this bronzer is that you can layer it up loads and loads but you can also wear it for a light coverage too.
NYX Tinted Brow Mascara Review
4. NYX Tinted Brow Mascara - Feel Unique
Being a dark brown haired girl I pretty much never leaved the house without my eyebrows sorted. I was such a fan of the Essence eyebrow gel but I can never find it in a Wilkinsons in stock. I've tried the Maybelline brow gel but it left my brows feeling crispy which didn't feel good at all. Since loosing my essence brow gel I've picked up the NYX tinted brow mascara from Feel Unique and it's absolutely AMAZING. I don't even know what I've done without it. It gives my brows more definition and sorts them out but also sets them as it's a brow mascara.
TheBalm Nude Tude Palette Review
5. The Balm Nude Tude Palette - Feel Unique
It was so so hard to decide on my favourite palette for the year but aside from my Urban Decay Naked Palettes, I've absolutely loved TheBalm Nude Tude Palette which I received in a Cohorted Beauty Box (you can check out the post here) and it's been in my daily make-up routine ever since. I loved the pigmentation of the colours in this palette and the colour palette of this palette is completely up my street. My favourite colours are 'Sultry' 'Stand-Offish' and 'Selfish'.
What are your favourite beauty products of 2015? Have you tried any of these products?
There won't be a new post for a couple of days because I'll be enjoying christmas/still writing my dissertation but I'll be back with a sales post!
Hope you all have an amazing christmas!
