How to wear: Ankle Boots

As you'll all know by now I'm a huge fan of ankle boots, and as the weather is changing so much lately i'm still wearing them for as long as I can!
I recently bought this pair from Linzi Shoes! They were hardly breaking the bank at the fab price of £22.
I love how they are lace up and have buckles too. They are a bit like some i've seen in a popular high street store, but I much prefer these not just because of the price but the quality too. I've worn these out numerous amounts of times and they still look brand new!
I've had email after email about how to 'wear' shoes in different ways to get the best use out of them so I thought i'd do a post on 3 ways i'd wear these boots from Linzi Shoes.

Outfit One

My scarf is from ASOS, my tops from H&M and my camel skinny jeans are a Miss Selfridge buy! I know what all of you regular readers are thinking BECCA'S WEARING JEANS?! well yes I am. I few months back I tried these on and I felt comfortable in them and they didn't look bad and I think they are an acception as they a camel coloured and not the typical blue! I've seen a lot of people with the Topshop version of these jeans! I would wear this outfit to college, out shopping for the day and with a black cardigan if the weathers bad!

Outfit Two

I'm still wearing my jeans in this outfit but I've teamed it up with a lace blouse from Topshop. I've noticed how well the colours go with the jeans and I think these jeans would look great with a plain white blouse, and maybe a sleeveless blouse too.
This is the type of outfit I'd wear to a meal out or seeing friends and just generally hanging out!

Outfit Three

I'm wearing a crafted blouse from Republic, A plain white top from Topshop underneath and some Topshop jeggings. These type of boots look great with leggings and jeggings and a skinny jean!
These shoes I'll be wearing until the sun comes out properly and in Autumn 2011 they'll still look great teamed with outfits just like the ones i've just shown.

What do you think of Ankle boots? How would you wear them?

I love outfits 1 and 2.

If I had these boots I'd wear them with a black lace dress, tan belt and little cream ankle socks to make them a bit quirky/vintage looking x

those boots are really cool, they are not too in your face if you get me. I have seen so many and they are just like OTT.

I think the way you are wearing them is perfect, I don't think I would put them with shorts, maybe a flowy skirt with cute sock just peeping out?

I think my favourite is either first or the third. I just love those jeans, there colour is so nice and looks awesome with the ankle boots.

I'm a big fan of the sheer blouse like you're where in 3. It would be nice just to have plan white one because right now I only have crazy patterned and coloured ones lol

Boots are seen everywhere this season. And all are just stylish and looking irresistible in whatever design and materials used. But there are some that really gets much attention than the others. Could these Fall / Winter 2011 Collection of Alexander McQueen Leather Lace-Up Platform Ankle Boots be counted?
E-Moxy is a lace up kind of bootie that’s made in black and features a textured leather upper with an almond toe, rope lace up front, and a pull-tab at the ankle. It has got a stiletto heel that measures 5″ with a 1.5″ platform. You can slip these on with your mini skirt prep up with full black leggings or stockings, or even with skinny jeans.
Whitney Port, an American television personality, clothing designer, model, actress, was spotted wearing this $395.00 worth of booties in the recently held Black Eyed Peas’ 7th Annual Peapod Benefit Concert in Hollywood last February 10th, 2011. If you feel like wearing these booties too for your fall staples, you can purchase these online only for the low price of $158 or 60% off down its original price.
