Beauty: Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette Review

Sunday, June 18, 2017

Unless you have been living under a rock, or you haven’t been connected to the Internet and social media the past week or so, you will have missed the newest launch from Urban Decay. The Naked Heat palette is what eye shadow addict dreams are made of, as it’s every colour you would want in a palette especially during the summer months, but these are the typical colours I would reach for all year round.

Like any typical makeup addict, I own pretty much every palette, which Urban Decay has made in the ‘Naked’ range. So when it was announced that they were having a pre-sale of the Naked Heat palette on June 12th, I knew I had to get one and after a few times of trying I did! (yasss!) And Friday was the happy day in which I had the palette in my hands and I’ve used this everyday since.

As you can see this palette has 12 stunning shades including matte and shimmer eye shadows and a dual sided brush which is perfect for when you’re on the go (plus the mirror is really good too). Despite some the negativity there has been around this palette, I am absolutely love it. I think the eye shadows are incredibly pigmented and the colour pay off is amazing and these shadows are seriously good to blend to create perfect warm toned eye looks.

As you can see from the photo above, the shades are absolutely stunning and incredibly pigmented. Chaser is a great base shade, He Devil is a gorgeous crease shade and Low Blow looks so nice in the outer corner of the eye. I think the shimmer shades in this palette are seriously impressive to and I think ‘Scorched’ looks so nice against my skin tone.

Sauced is a great shade to sweep all over your lids for a daytime look, cayenne is another great crease shade as well as En Fuego. The other two shimmer shades, Dirty Talk and Scorched are stunning and look so nice against brown eyes. I think what’s great about this palette is the shades will suit everyone as who doesn’t love a warm toned eye look?!

I think this palette is stunning and the shades are so nice, I don’t have a bad thing to say about this palette aside from make sure you purchase it AS SOON AS it becomes available in the UK (which is at the end of July)!
Is this palette on your make-up wish list? Which shade in the palette is your favourite?

I wasn't aware of the negativity around this palette, but I definitely agree that the shades are gorgeous, and right up my street as well! I'm also glad you mentioned the brush as the naked palettes' brushes are the only palette brushes I use, the other ones go straight into the bin! Lovely review :)
