Lunching with Intu Potteries Shopping Centre

Tuesday, May 28, 2019

I haven't always lived in Staffordshire but for the length of time that I've lived here when it comes to shopping I've always turned to Intu Potteries Shopping Centre on a weekend to buy clothes, presents have a bite to eat or even a trip to the cinema. I'm normally someone who visits Intu Potteries in the evening, so it was so nice to be invited down to review the lunchtime options. I loved how we had a gin cocktail, starter and a main and it only set (for both of us) back about £35!

What's great about there lunch set menu is that you can get 2 courses for only £10.95! I think you can have three courses for £13.95 which is a bargain as well!

If you're not aware, The Potteries had an extension in 2015 'The Hive' which saw Stoke-On-Trent have their first Nandos, Pizza Express, Coast to Coast and Chiquitos.  If you've known me a long time you'll know one of my favourite things to eat is DOUGHBALLS.  So of course, when you're in Pizza Express, doughballs are a must and on this occasion, my other half had the garlic bread with mozzarella which was delicious as well!

We then moved onto to our mains which were, of course, Pizza! My other half went for a classic pizza which was the Sloppy Guiseppe and I had a pizza off there under 6oo calories part of the menu which was the Pollo Ad Astra.

My pizza had Chicken, Light Mozzarella, Sweet Peppadew Peppers, Red Onions, Garlic Oil, Tomato and Cajun Spices. My other half's pizza had Spiced Beef, Green Pepper, Red Onion, Mozzarella and Tomato.  We would definitely both go back for a lunch date!
