GHD Glide - £125 from GHD [AD - Gifted] I remember when I got my first pair of GHD Hair straighteners, I was 11 years old and in primary school and they weren’t even mine, they were my mum’s but I just liked to borrow them (a lot) and a few years later I got my own pair and they have been a staple in my life ever since. If you have not heard of the GHD Glide, then where have you been? The GHD Glide is the newest hair tool from GHD, which is a ‘hot brush’. At first, I thought how on earth is this going to work but now, after a few times of using the glide, I’m obsessed.

The GHD Glide is the ideal tool if you like to spend more time in bed (like me) in the morning and less time straightening your hair. This tool is probably best used on ‘second day’ hair or for those days when you want those extra 5/10 minutes in bed.

The brush has ions in it which help eliminate frizz and the mixture of short and longer bristles on the brush help your hair to ‘move’ better and for large sections of hair to be tackled at once, meaning less time straightening! The brush only heats up to 185 degrees too which means your hair won’t be as damaged by straighteners and will appear more ‘healthy’ looking.

I received this brush just over a week ago so I have had a little bit of time to test this out and I have to say I have really noticed a difference when it comes to styling my hair. I have used this 3 or 4 times and after the second use I received compliments from the women at my work asking if I had got my hair cut and blow dried so this brush must be working it’s magic right?

Overall, I am super impressed with this brush and I think if you’re like myself and a loyal user of GHD’s, you would seriously benefit from having this brush in your life, especially for those days you just want to minimise the time you spend styling your hair each morning and opting for more time in bed instead!
