Beauty: Birchbox 'For The Dreamers' May Box Review

Monday, May 16, 2016

For product variety this is one of my favourite beauty boxes I've ever received and Birchbox have really hit the nail on the head when it comes to making (in my opinion) the dream beauty box. Birchbox is always a box I'm impressed with as they come in those cute tie bags (which are great for travelling or just to live at your boyfriends house to keep your products safe) and the boxes are always absolutely gorgeous and no pattern each month is the same.

Spectrum Collections Sponge - £4.99
Spectrum Collections is one favourite brands and I'm always so excited when I discover a new release from them. I'm a really big fan of the beauty blender and when I saw that in this months Birchbox was a Spectrum Collections sponge I couldn't wait to try it out. So far I am impressed with this and it helps blend in my concealer and foundation so well.
Rituals Tao Wai Wang Mild Exfoliating Body Scrub - 70ml travel size (full size £19.50)

Rituals is a brand I'm loving right now. I had a body lotion from them, I am not sure of the name but it made my skin feel so soft for days afterwards. I think Rituals products always smell amazing and the more Rituals products in my life the better right?
theBalm Stainiac in Beauty Queen - Sample size 1.2ml full size RRP £10

Whenever there is a product from theBalm in a Birchbox it's an exciting time. Stainiac is a gel-based cheek and lip stain which has that subtle hint of colour. This feels really soft on the skin and dries really quickly too. I think for me this is better as a cheek product as I am not the biggest fan of lip stains, but if you're a big fan of lip stains this is the perfect product for you.
Vita Coco Coconut Oil - Sample size

You can use coconut oil for literally ANYTHING (like literally). I mainly use this for cooking but I have another tub of coconut oil for when I use this as a hair mask or eye make up remover. I used to hate the smell of coconut but from cooking with coconut oil all the time I've begun to love it. If you're a fan of multi-use products you need to give coconut oil a try.
Philip Kingsley PK Polishing Balm - Sample size 20ml

First of all I've just spotted this mini set of Philip Kingsley products for £6! Which is a total bargain. I'm yet to try any products from Philip Kingsley but I have never read a bad review on a Philip Kingsley product. I am really looking forward to using this as frizz-fighting balm works to condition, style and protect your hair.

Caudalie Moisturising Sorbet - Sample size 10ml (RRP £23)
This was the product that really caught my eye this month. I've tried a few Caudalie products before thanks to beauty boxes and when I heard about this launch I new I had to try it. This sorbet is great for all skin types and helps to leave your skin feeling super soft. The 'white grape' scent isn't very overpowering either which I really like. I'll be carrying on using this to keep my skin looking moisturised, hydrated and feeling glowy.
You can sign up to Birchbox here for £10 & £2.95 p&p.
What did you think of this months box? Have you tried out any of these products before?
