Cohorted April Beauty Box Review
Cohorted April Beauty Box*

As much as I love beauty boxes with the amount of repeats I've been seeing it's not made me as excited when my monthly box comes through the post. This months Cohorted beauty box was a real surprise for me and I love it. It was such an eye opener to see some new brand I've never tried before such as MDM flow.

MAC Patent Polish Lip Pencil in Clever - £17.50 (RRP)

One thing I've always loved about Cohorted boxes is that they (occasionally) include MAC products and they are always products I've never tried before. I remember a few boxes back they had a MAC lipstick in there and it was like christmas had come early! I actually really like this shade, it's sheer so it's perfect for those days when you're running out of time to get ready or want to wear minimal make-up. It's such an easy wearable colour too as it's a pink/nude shade.

MDM Flow Lipstick in Panther - RRP £18

MDM Flow is a brand I've seen a lot of on Instagram and if you've never heard of the brand before, MDM flow was set up by Florence Adepoju. Florence has a BSC in cosmetic science and she set up MDM flow as she was frustrated with lip colours not being show on women of colour.

The shades in the range are so bright and flamboyant (perfect for you daring girls out there!) I was happy with the shade panther as it's wearable for those nights out where you feel like you need a pop of colour. On the left side of the photo you can see the MAC lip pencil swatch and I was so surprised as it appears sheer but it's actually quite pigmented.

Miss Patisserie Bath Melt - RRP £3.99

Who doesn't love a bath product? When I'm feeling stressed and need a bit of chill time I head straight for a bath. I'm really excited to use this but then again I don't want too as it looks too pretty to use! This bath melt is made from shea and cocoa butter so it's guaranteed to leave your skin feeling super smooth.

Gold Elements Nail Care Kit - RRP £29.49

Who doesn't enjoy giving their nails a bit of TLC? I try and make time each week to take care of my nails and make sure they're painted and looking great. I love hand and nail creams as they protect your skin and leave it feeling really smooth. I was really happy they included a cuticle oil in this months box as I can never find one in the drugstores on the high street. A girl can never have too many nail files right? I was so glad to see a buffing block and nail file in this box and they went straight in my handbag.

Body Shop White Musk Libertine EDT Perfume - RRP £24

I've never really been into the body shop or the hype that surrounds the brand. It's just never really appealed to me before until this fragrance came into my life. I think this perfume is a perfect day scent as it has sweet notes of turkish delight, baby orchid and chantilly cream. This perfume is also the dream size to put in your handbag.

Overall, I am a big fan of this months box as every product was a new brand to me or a product from a brand I haven't tried before. My favourite product in this months box without a doubt is perfume from The Body Shop I'm in love with this scent!

Have you tried any of these products before? What do you think of Cohorted beauty boxes?
