Beauty: Superdrug & Boots Haul ft Clarins, Smashbox, Real Techniques and Essie

Monday, April 17, 2017

Who doesn’t love wandering around Boots and Superdrug and seeing all the latest releases? Some of my favourite posts to read on blogs are drugstore hauls and I love seeing what people are buying and what are the best new releases to try. This posts features some real gems and some of these products I’ll be repurchasing over and over again.
This post features a new release from Clarins, an old Essie favourite, some everyday essentials and an amazing new mascara release. I hope you’ve got your cup of tea ready as this post is going to be a detailed one!
Essie Mint Candy Apple - £7.99 from Superdrug
This little number from Essie has been around for years and it’s actually my second bottle of the stuff. I absolutely love this colour and think it’s perfect for spring and summertime. I’ve used two coats of this nail polish and a top coat and we’re on day 4 (or 5) and I’m still yet to see a chip!
Biore Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips - £5.87 from Boots
I remember looking in the mirror a few weeks ago and noticing that my black heads have gotten worse and I knew I had to do something about it. I discovered these pore strips from Biore and so far so good they’re working really well for me. I think it’s important to look after your skin and these strips are helping me feel more confident in mine. Do you have any skincare recommendations for removing blackheads? Let me know in the comments as I’d love to find another product or two.
Real Techniques 4 Mini Miracle Complexion Sponges - £7.99 from Superdrug
Over the past few years I’ve fallen in and out of love with my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge and as of about 3 months ago I’ve gone back to loving them and the other new Real Techniques releases. I love using loose Laura Mercier Translucent Powder to set my under eye area and this sponge works a treat. I love using these sponges to set my concealer as well and what I’ve noticed with the Real Techniques sponges is the quality of them have changed. So I would highly recommend picking a new one up and this set of 4 too.

L'Oreal Miss Baby Roll Mega Volume Mascara - £7.99 from Superdrug
Who isn’t guilty of picking up a new L’Oreal mascara release? I am pretty sure every few months there is a new one out and this new launch caught my eye. I struggle to get a good amount of volume with my lashes and the wand on this mascara intrigued me. I’ll always be a fan of my Too FacedBetter Than Sex Mascara but I’ll always be on the hunt for a cheaper alternative. This doesn’t quite hit the spot but It’s a good drugstore mascara if you’re looking for a new one to try!

Smashbox Spotlight Palette in Pearl - £26 from Boots
Have you ever seen a highlighter palette looks so beautiful? This palette is in collaboration with YouTube star Casey Holmes. Whilst I’ve never seen any of her videos, seeing this palette online caught my eye. The shades are absolutely stunning and are suitable for all skin tones. I love using a fan brush and mixing all 3 shades together to create the perfect highlight.

Clarins Limited Edition Summer Bronzing & Blush Compact - £30 from Boots
Boots points are a glorious thing when it comes to buying more expensive make up and in this case it’s allowed me to own this summer’s limited edition bronzing compact from Clarins. How stunning is this bronzer and blusher compact?! I literally can’t stop looking at it, as the design of the powder is so intricate. The mirror on this bronzer is huge too so this compact is perfect for when you’re on the go. If you’re looking for a high quality bronzer and a blusher to match, then you need to try this out.

What do you think of these products? Are you adding any to your wish list?
