When they got in contact about their engraving service I was so excited as I have seen a few brands do this, but never had anything with my name on (sigh) I just knew I had to try the service out and get myself and my boyfriend matching fragrances for Valentines Day! The scents I picked out were Hugo Boss The Scent for Him & Her.

Every year since I’ve been with my boyfriend I’ve bought him a Hugo Boss aftershave. They’re his favourite kind to wear and trust me they smell AMAZING. This is newest aftershave from Hugo Boss and first of all the packaging looks sleek and expensive and the bottle does as well. The aftershave has exquisite notes of Ginger, Exotic Maninka and leather, which aim to ‘seduce your senses’

As you can see this bottle is engraved and doesn’t this look great? I think this is a great personal touch to something you wear on a daily basis. It makes the aftershave feel more sentimental and I think you’d be more likely to reach for it more as it’s a present from your loved one.

What I love about Hugo Boss scent’s is they all smell amazing and when they brought out the ‘for her’ scent I knew I had to have it. I first smelt it at a press day about 6 months ago and I put it on my Christmas wish list but didn’t receive this fragrance.  I loved the packaging, the feel of the bottle and how it just looks gorgeous on your dressing table (as well as smelling insane at the same time!)

With notes of honeyed peach, freesia bloom, osmanthus flower and intensely roasted cocoa, this is a strong but still feminine scent. What I really like about this perfume is that it’s quite strong but not overpowering at the same time. It’s perfect for everyday wear too as I find sometimes fragrances are too warm for  are just a bit ‘strong’ for every day wear.
