Beauty: Discovering Zoeva & Beauty Bay Haul

Wednesday, November 18, 2015

I've heard a lot about Beauty Bay but I've never actually made a purchase from the site. I've been so into beauty lately (as you've probably noticed from my posts) and the Beauty Bay site is literally make-up heaven!
If you haven't heard of Beauty Bay before they're an online store which stocks premium and unique UK and International beauty brands. They introduce brands on the site due to customer demands so online you'll find brands such as Stila, Pixi, Zoeva and more.

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette - £15.50

I have always wondered where bloggers pick up Zoeva products. I have never seen them in a store in the UK so I hadn't looked further into the brand despite how hyped up the brushes and eyeshadow palettes from the brand are. I love the Zoeva Rose Gold Brush Set as it's rose gold and the brushes look absolutely gorgeous and I've heard so much about the eyeshadow palettes and they are only £15 too (bargain!). I first heard about this palette in a Lily Pebbles blog post and I absolutely loved the colours so I was ecstatic when I found out I could get my hands on the palette from Beauty Bay!

My favourite shades in this palette are Subtle Blend, Warm Notes and Sweeter End. The palette has a few great nude shades and a few darker shades which make this palette very adaptable from day to night. What's also great about this palette is that it's very compact so It won't take up a lot of space in your handbag or make-up bag too.
Art Deco Couture Nail Polish - £5.25

I was browsing the sale section on the website when I came across this polish. I just fell in LOVE with the colour. I love how it's great for Autumn/Winter and how well this nail polish shade goes with my skin tone. I love how this polish gave my nails are a real 'gel' look effect too.
Zoeva Cream Cheek Blush Brush from the Bon Voyage Brush Set - £30.95

This brush is designed to apply cream and powder blusher. As time has gone on and my love for make-up has grown, I've begun to like blusher. I thought It would be a product I would never really use but after recently discovering the Urban Decay Naked Flushed Compact I'm a changed woman.

Zoeva Stippling Brush from the Bon Voyage Brush Set - £30.95

I've used this brush a few times since having it and I'm not 100% sure on this one. I think for the make-up looks I like to create this brush isn't quite for me (but I could still grow to love it) I like using denser brushes to apply my foundation with but I think this would work well for people which apply light coverage foundations or prefer a very natural make-up look.

Zoeva 228 Luxe Crease Brush from the Bon Voyage Brush Set - £30.95

This brush has become a real favourite in my everyday make-up routine. This brush is designed as a multi-task eyeshadow brush, It's great for blending eyeshadow shades in the crease of the eye. It's great for creating perfected eye looks and great for eye contouring. I like using this brush to create nude eye for an everyday make-up look.
Zoeva Detail Shader Brush from the Bon Voyage Brush Set - £30.95

What I love using this brush for is to add eyeliner to my eye make-up looks but with a dark eyeshadow shade. I find that this brush works perfectly for the application and the size of the brush is ideal!

What do you think of Beauty Bay? Have you tried any Zoeva products? Are there any Zoeva products you would recommend giving a go?

I know exactly what you mean about not being so keen on blush! I bought two of the Tarte Amazonian Clay blushes recently for review purposes and now I can't get enough of blush, I've found myself pulling out forgotten palettes to use the blushes and all sorts! X
