Glossybox 'Beauty SOS' November 2018 Beauty Box Review

Wednesday, November 21, 2018

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll have heard of Glossybox. If you have been living under a rock however, Glossybox is a beauty subscription box, which offers you 5/6 make up treats each month for only £10 (plus postage). If you think about how much a beauty product can cost on it’s own (£10+) then beauty box companies like this are an absolute treat.

The theme for this month’s box is ‘Beauty SOS’ and it’s all about the beauty essentials that will come to your rescue during the party season. The box includes a very impressive array of brands including HUDA BEAUTY as well as Stylondon, Your Good Skin, Living Proof, Chloe and Context. So onto the products…

Eaton Eyeshadow Palette by Stylondon - RRP £9.99*
Stylondon is a brand I’ve never heard of before and so I was glad to see this in this months box. I love how the eye shadow palette is compact and how the colours in this palette are very varied. The shades are a mix of sheen and matte so it’s the perfect palette to create both intense night-time looks but also casual day-time looks.

Your Good Skin Balancing Skin Concentrate – (Deluxe Mini £5.83)
I don’t think I’ve ever tried a product from Your Good Skin before but for the past few days I have been trying this out and I’m super impressed. This product is proven to help improve skin texture, radiance, oiliness and redness in just 28 days. It’s only been a few days for me and I already feel like my skin looks brighter and my makeup sits on my skin better.

Living Proof Restore Mask Treatment – RRP £10*
Living Proof is a brand I’ve come across numerous times and I have really enjoyed using the products I’ve tried. I’ve tried this mask before, so I was delighted to see this in this month’s box! This mask is cruelty free and aims to deeply condition your hair and boost your hair’s moisture levels and I definitely noticed a difference when I used this this in the past.

Chloe Eau De Parfum – (Sample Size, Full Size £47*)
This was an added bonus in this months box and it’s a perfume I know and love. What’s great about little sample sizes like this is that they’re great to just pop in your clutch bag for a touch up when you’re out for the evening.

Context Micro-Derm Regenerator (Deluxe Mini, £6.50)

Context was another brand, which I have not come across in the past in this month’s box. This product is a two-in-one cleanser, which uses professional microdermabrasion crystals, which exfoliate, purifies and polishes the skin. I haven’t used this yet, but I’m away at the weekend so I will definitely be giving this a go then!

Huda Beauty Liquid Lipstick in the shade 'Girlfriend' - Full size, £18
If you’ve read my blog for a while, you’ll know I am a big fan of Huda Beauty products so to see a Huda Beauty product in this months box I was beyond thrilled. The shade ‘Girlfriend’ is a stunning nude shade, which will be suitable for all skin tones. I really like the formula of her lipsticks as they are long wearing and extremely pigmented too!

So overall, as you can see this is a pretty good box! It’s so good that it’s already sold out and the December edition of Glossybox has sold out too!

However, having said that, they have some incredible offers coming up for Black Friday so keep your eyes peeled!

What do you think of this months box?
