Glossybox March 2018 Beauty Box Review

Sunday, March 25, 2018

Isn’t March just the longest month EVER? I genuinely think this month has been the slowest month of the year so far. However, hopefully the snow has gone now as spring is on its way! One thing each month which I do look forward to is my beauty box subscriptions arriving in the post and one of my favourite boxes I’m subscribed to is Glossybox.

Their March edition is full to the brim of great products from skincare to make-up and hair care.  This months box has products from brands including Oryza Beauty, Figs & Rouge, Meg Cosmetics, Laura Geller, Jean SEO, Decleor, Universal Beauty, La Theorie Des Volcans, Makeup Drop and Leighton Denny. For the first time in a long time, I think the products in each box is varied as you normally receive every product on the card which comes inside the box.
Probably for the first time since I’ve been subscribed to Glossybox (which has been about 2 years now) I have received a box where I have heard of NONE of the brands before and they are all full size products (apart from one) so it was pretty exciting for me to review.

Universal Beauty Secret Flush - RRP £14.50
First up it’s a creamy blusher called ‘Secret Flush’ by Universal Beauty and I have to say the colour of this blusher is stunning. What I like about this cream blusher is that it can work as a lip stain as well. I have used this quite a few times, it’s easy to layer on the skin if you’re looking for a rosier look as well.
La Theorie Des Volcans Noir Eternae Youth Potion - RRP £26.50

I’ve never heard of a product, which can turn from pink to grey, magic right? Well this mask can and it smells seriously good as well.  I have only used this once so far so I’ll report back when I’m able to see a difference.

Oryza Beauty Warm Nude Lipstick - RRP £15.95

I’ve never heard of the brand Oryza before but I am impressed with this lipstick as it’s a gorgeous nude shade (with a hint of orange). This lipstick has a satin finish and doesn’t feel too heavy on the lips.
Figs & Rouge Soft Focus Pore Perfect HD+ Primer - RRP £35

Probably my favourite product in this months box is this primer from Figs & Rouge. First of all, I love the packaging of this as it’s gold and pale pink (to of my favourite colours). This is a weightless matte serum which helps to blur pores and any product that blurs or minimises pores successfully gets a big yes from me.
MudMasky Sleep Repair Nourishing Renewal Mask - RRP £61
Finally in this months box is a facemask from MudMasky. MudMasky is another brand I haven’t tried before but so far I’m impressed with it. It is an overnight treatment, which is made from fresh, raw and natural ingredients. It’s scented with rose water, which helps you sleep well apparently! I can’t quite vouch for it helping me sleep but it definitely is relaxing.

What do you think of this months box? Have you tried any of these brands before?

You can subscribe to Glossybox for as little as £10 per month + £3.25 postage and packaging here
