Beauty: 5 Beauty Products I've Been Enjoying Right Now

Thursday, November 16, 2017

One thing I love doing is experimenting with beauty products. Whether it’s skincare, nail polish or just a new product to try. I realised that some of my most read posts are ones which are ‘impromptu’ and so I shot these photos on a whim and so I thought I’d share with you all some of the products I’ve enjoyed this past few weeks.
Huda Beauty Warm Obsessions Palette - £25 from Cult Beauty

First up it’s the newest edition to my makeup collection and it’s one of the new palettes from Huda Beauty. I have followed Huda online for YEARS but I have never bought into the products she’s created. Firstly, I prefer seeing lipsticks in person but secondly what I would have bought (an eye shadow palette) they are priced at £56 and that is A LOT of money on eye shadow.

Huda Beauty Warm Obsessions Palette - £25 from Cult Beauty
So when it was announced on Cult Beauty that she was released 4 palettes, which were priced at only £25 each I knew I had to own one. So obviously, I picked up the palette which looked the most like the UrbanDecay Naked Heat and it’s stunning. I feel like this palette is the perfect edition to any travel makeup bag and it’s perfect if you want a high-end brand at a more budget friendly price. Also, as you can tell from the swatches, this palette is INCREDIBLY pigmented and they are so easy to blend too.

Essie Nail Polish in Angora Cardi - £7.99 from Boots
Over the past year I have had a real obsession with Essie nail polishes and each time they bring out a new collection, I tend to treat myself to a new colour and they are always so nice and so on trend. I also get so many compliments whenever I wear an Essie polish. Angora Cardi is the newest edition to my Essie collection and it just screams Autumn/Winter.
Indeed Laboratories Vitamin C24 - £24.99 from ASOS
The next two products in this post are from Indeed Labs. Indeed Labs is a band I have come across once before in a Birchbox and I tried one of their face masks (which was amazing FYI) and so I was delighted when a package came to my door with a couple of new products to try. This brand is available in Boots but it it’s now available on ASOS too which makes it even more accessible! (yes!)

First up it’s the Vitamin C24 Dual Action cream and I have to say, so far so good. I am really impressed with this so far. The texture reminds me a lot of the Benefit Porefessional Primer. I use this morning and night at the moment and my skin already feels smoother and looks brighter. This cream also has hyaluronic acid inside which helps make you skin look more glowy!
Indeed Laboratories Eysilix Instant Eye Rescue - £24.99 from ASOS
If you’re someone (like myself) who suffers with puffiness under the eyes and dark circles and looking tired then it’s well worth trying this product out. I use this in the morning and evening after cleansing and I am really liking this so far.
Smashbox Insta-Matte Lipstick Transformer - £19 from Boots
If you want a product that will seriously up your lipstick game then you NEED this in your life. Whether you have a gloss, sheer or sheen lipstick this will ensure all of your lipsticks turn to a matte finish. You only need to use a little of this to go a long way and it’s made every single one of my lipsticks more wearable as I love a matte finish right now. So if you’re looking for a product that will immediately update your makeup look, then you need this.
What do you think of these products? Have you tried any of them? What's on your beauty wish list right now?

Great products! I've been eyeing up the Huda Palette in the Mauve version. But after seeing your swatches, I think I now prefer the warm! xx
