Beauty: ASOS Has Launched It's Own Beauty Range But Is It Good?

Tuesday, October 03, 2017

The end of September saw the launch of ASOS beauty and it couldn’t really be more exciting! With 46 pieces all under £10 (aside from the eye shadow palettes) this range is a steal and it doesn’t break the bank either. This range is very much targeted towards to the 18-25 age group as it’s a fun, quirky range but doesn’t take itself too seriously.

ASOS Make-up Matte Liquid Lipstick in Overqualified - £7
Looking for a gorgeous new nude lipstick to wear? Well I’ve found it with the shade ‘Overqualified’ from the new ASOS beauty range. It’s a gorgeous pink/nude shade, which looks great with my tanned skin tone.

I love how it’s extremely matte too and not overly moisturising like a gloss (trust me some matte lipsticks are like this!) and it lasted on my lips the whole morning when I tested this out. I’ll be definitely picking up other colours!

How stunning is this highlighter shade?! It’s a gorgeous gold, which has a hint of brown to make it look a little bit more like a bronzer. I love how this looks against my skin tone and how easy this is to blend into your skin. It’s not the best highlighter since sliced bread, but it’s pretty good for the price.

I’ve been a massive fan of blusher lately and I have a new favourite to add into my collection with the shade ‘acceptance’ from ASOS beauty. I love how this shade isn’t too over the top but it’s super easy to blend as well. If you’re looking for a blusher on a budget, I’d highly recommend picking this up.

ASOS Make-up Eyeshadow Palette in Current Mood - £12
First of all how stunning are these shades? I was so impressed with the pigmentation of these shades and how good the colour pay off is. I really like the colours in this palette and how they’re very autumnal. My favourite shades are the khaki green and the dark blue but the transitional purple/nude shades are gorgeous as well.

Overall, I am really impressed with this range and think it’s great for the price and that it targets young women really well. If I had to pinpoint my favourite pieces from this collection, which I have, it’s definitely the matte lipstick and the eye shadow palette. The palette I’ve worn a few times already and I have been really impressed with the longevity of the shadows. The matte liquid lipstick is gorgeous too and for the price I’ll be definitely picking up more shades.

Have you tried out ASOS beauty yet? Which items will you be picking up?

I'm planning on purchasing a few Asos bits, so this post is very helpful to me! I was already very tempted by the eyeshadow palettes, but after reading this, I know I will try at least one of them! Thank you for sharing :)

The highlighter stick is gorgeous and also the eyeshadow palette, I was looking for a palette with blue eyeshadows all summer since I started to wear colour more often, and this one is so pretty!
