Beauty: The 4 Blushers I'd Repurchase Over and Over Again

Thursday, August 17, 2017

If you spoke to me a year ago and you told me that I’d become obsessed with wearing blusher, I would have replied are you mad? Firstly as blusher is a makeup product I’ve never been keen on, but secondly as I’ve been too afraid to wear it. However, something has come over me and now I’m blusher obsessed… so here it is, 4 blushers I’m 99.9% sure thing you should invest in, or at least add to your beauty wish list.

Clinique Peach Pop Blusher - £17
If you’re looking for a vibrant blusher, you will absolutely love this blusher from Clinique. It’s a vibrant (but still natural looking) cheek colour that looks virtually powder less. This is a gorgeous shade for olive skin tones (like myself) and darker skin tones or just if you love a bright blush. I love how you can use this with a light hand and a cheek brush for a light effect or you can layer this for a rosier look.

Clarins Blush Prodige Illuminating Blush in Sunset Coral - £27
If you’ve been reading my blog a while, you’ll know that I absolutely adore the brand Clarins. I love their skincare, makeup and body products and there hasn’t been a product of Clarins I’ve tried and not liked. When looking for a more ‘natural’ blush about 6 months ago, Clarins is the beauty counter I went to and I have no regrets, as I adore this shade.

It comes in a compact with a brush so it’s perfect for on the go to.  It’s quite a shimmery blush, which actually works to create a more illuminating but natural look. I have used this pretty much everyday for the past few months and it’s perfect for achieving a natural glow.

Nars Orgasm Blusher - £23
Possibly the most ‘well-known’ blusher in this post, NARS Orgasm is known as a sort of ‘cult’ product in the beauty blogging world. I am super glad that I have my hands on this, as it’s an absolutely stunning colour. I think it’s a shade that suits all skin tones too and for the amount of product you get, the price is very reasonable.

Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso - £10 from BeautyBay
The most recent edition to my blusher collection, one that is raved about by so many beauty bloggers and Youtubers, Milani Luminoso. I recently went to a wedding and a girl I met there (Bethan you know who you are girl!) did the make up of the bride and bridesmaids and this was the blusher she used.  It looks stunning on the bride (and bridesmaids) and they all had different skin tones, which demonstrated how wearable this blusher is. I love how silky this blusher is to apply and how it illuminates your skin at the same time.

Have you tried out any of these blushers? Do you have any blusher recommendations?

I am the opposite as I love blushers but if you were to tell me that I will be bronzer obsessed than I would have called you crazy. And today I am bronzer obsessed too. LOL!
