Beauty: 5 High End Beauty Discoveries Worth Trying

Saturday, June 10, 2017

When you buy a beauty item that costs a few more pennies than normal you want to make sure you are buying a product you absolutely love. It’s hard to figure out what beauty products are worth the hype and which ones are worth passing on. So here is the latest edition of beauty products, which are seriously worth the hype!

This colour correcting concealer works like an absolute dream. I have used this constantly for about 3 months now and it helps hide my dark circles, especially on days when I’m super tired! I am surprised that I still have product left inside this concealer because I’ve used it THAT much.
I wasn’t really a fan of colour correctors when the makeup trend first popped up but I adore this concealer. I am yet to try the other colours in the range but I will be repurchasing this when it runs out.

NARS Soft Matte Concealer in Macadamia - £23 from ASOS

This is probably the newest edition to my make up collection this concealer works like an absolute dream. If you’re a big fan of the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer you will adore this version. At first I wasn’t really a fan of the thought of having concealer in a more ‘solid’ form but now I absolutely love it. If you want to get rid of spots quickly too this concealer works a treat. I tend to use this on top of a high-street concealer like the Collection lasting perfection concealer or Revlon concealer as a sort of touch up to create the perfect look.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara - £19 from Debenhams

If you’ve been a reader of my blog for a while, you’ll know I absolutely adore this mascara from Too Faced. I was really sceptical when I picked this up about 6 months ago as it was more money then I’d usually spend on mascara but it was such a great purchase. If you’re looking for a lengthening, volumising mascara, which doesn’t go clumpy, this will be your new favourite.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in Medium Brown - £15 from Beauty Bay

Anastasia Beverly Hills is a brand I haven’t tried many products from but the products I’ve tried I’ve LOVED. The dip brow pomade is a cult product in the beauty world and I knew I had to try it. What I’ve learnt since having this pomade is you need a brow brush otherwise this isn’t going to look great, also that a little of this goes a long way. Make sure you remove any excess product on the side of the pomade before applying to your brows and also make sure that you use a clear brow gel afterwards!

I didn’t think it was possible to love a matte eye shadow palette as much as I love this palette from Kat Von D. This palette has 12 matte shades, which suit all skin tones. These shadows are incredibly silky, buildable and blend like a dream. My favourite shades In the palette are the ones on the right side as they make an absolutely stunning look when you use them together.

What do you think of these high end beauty discoveries? Have you tried any of these products out?

That KVD palette has been in my list to buy since forever! I don't get along with TF Better Than Sex mascara, it is the only mascara that flakes like crazy on me.
