What’s the best thing to come home to after a long day at work? Flowers? Your other half cooking you dinner? Nope, a beauty box delivery! Cause lets face it when do the first two things happen?!
This months box includes treats from Laura Geller, Merci Handy, This Works, Alterna, Vitamasques, Omorovicza, Madara and this month’s copy of Elle magazine all for £15! (winning!)
Laura Geller Balance and Brighten Baked Foundation – (travel size)
Laura Geller is a brand I’m hearing and reading more and more about lately, especially the highlighter in the shade gilded honey (which FYI is a total dream boat of a highlight) so I was excited to see a different product in this months box. I’ve never tried a powder foundation before but this intrigued me. Unfortunately the wrong shade, I’ll be passing this onto a friend but I tested this on the back of my hand with a blusher brush and I was really impressed with the pay off of this foundation, I think I’m going to have to try this in my skin shade!
Merci Handy Hand Cleansing Gel - Full Size, £2.90
Merci Handy is a brand I’ve heard of a few times before, thanks to my unhealthy obsession with being a subscriber of ALL OF THE BEAUTY BOXES. I have one of these in my car, handbag and on my desk at work. I think anti bacterial gels are so important and this one is perfect for when you’re on the go. This anti bacterial gel is enriched with vitamin E and emollient beads and leaves your hands feeling super soft. Normally I find that anti bacterial hand creams dry your hands out really quickly but that’s not the case when I’ve been using this.
What I like about beauty boxes is that they include sample sizes of skincare products as when I go away, I always seem to travel with only hand luggage and none of the skincare I use on a daily basis comes in under 100ml size! This cream from Madara is said to hydrate your skin, reverse the first signs of ageing and smooth out fine lines. I think this a perfect on the go product and I’ll be taking it with me when I go to Rome in a few weeks time.Omorovicza Cleansing Foam - (travel size, 25ml)
Omorovicza is a brand I keep reading about online but I am pretty sure I’ve never tried anything from the brand before. I’ve given this a whirl a few times now as I have had this beauty box about a week and I am already really impressed with it. This is a delicately scented blue cleansing foam and is sulphate free as well. It helps remove all make up (especially water proof mascara). What I like about this cleanser is that it doesn’t dry your skin out, it just leaves you skin feeling very moisturised.
Alterna Caviar CC Cream - (Travel size, 25ml)
Everyone loves a multi tasking her product right? This caviar CC cream hails as being a 10 in 1 product so for all you multitasking product loves, you’ll love this. This cream helps to leave your hair feeling polished, locks in moisture and increase shine and prevent breakage. I think this is the perfect treat to put in your overnight bag when you’re going away for the evening and you know that your hair needs some TLC.
This Works Perfect Legs Skin Miracle - (sample size, 10ml)
One brand I really like is This Works and I love trying out different products from the brand. I’ve used the Deep Sleep Pillow Spray for a few years now and I really enjoy using it. However, this months box included the leg miracle and I was really excited to try this. This product is a tinted serum and is helps to combat skin imperfections, discolouration and scars. This cream contains a mixture of vitamin c and e and helps to even out your skin tone and the arnica helps to fade bruising. I’ve tried this once but I need to try it a few times before I can report back with the results!
Vitamasques Pomegranate Sheet Mask - x1 RRP £3.99 each
Is a beauty box even counted as a beauty box without a facemask inside anymore?! I love having a stash of facemasks in my beauty collection, as I always love trying out new ones. I’ve never tried anything from Vitamasques before and I am really looking forward to trying this facemask out.
So, I bet you’re wondering. What’s my verdict on this months box? I love the design, I love the variety of products and I think there’s a lot to offer all skin types this month. I love the anti bacterial gel, I’m really intrigued by the This Works Leg Skin Miracle and I love that a more higher end make up brand has appeared in this months box.
All in all I think this a great edition of the Look Fantastic box and it proves that this is something worth treating yourself to. 6 new beauty products each month with Elle magazine and free delivery for £15?! An absolute dream in my eyes!
