Beauty: Cohorted February Beauty Box Review

Wednesday, February 22, 2017

Is there really anything better in life then a box full of beauty products? I think not. My favourite time of the month is when my monthly beauty box subscriptions arrive in the post and this month’s Cohorted edition really did not disappoint.

Studio 10 Visible Lift Face Definer - £30
Who doesn’t love a contour kit? This palette is ideal for defining and contouring your face. When you use this palette with a beauty blender you won’t have any crease lines and everything blends in perfectly. The highlighter is probably my favourite part of this palette as it has a warm gold undertone to achieve the perfect natural glowy look.

Kure Bazaar Nail Polish - £15
I love it when a beauty box has a nail polish in as I immediately take off the colour that’s on my nails and give the nail polish a go. I’ve never heard of Kure Bazaar before but this baby pink colour is gorgeous. Kure Bazaar is an eco-friendly brand and this nail polish is made up of 85% natural ingredients. I love how this polish dried really quick and the colour pay off is great too.

Doucce Click Click Lipstick - £19
This is probably my least favourite product in this months box purely as the lipstick comes apart from the packaging far too easily. The top just falls off the lipstick by just picking it up and it’s not secure at all. However, this lipstick is a gorgeous red shade and is really pigmented.

Doucce Eyeshadow Palette
Despite not being a huge fan of the lipstick, I really like this eye shadow palette.  I think this palette is perfect for travelling and the colours in this palette are gorgeous too. My favourite shade is the far left as it’s a matte orange/brown and that’s the only eye shadow colour I seem to be wearing at the moment!

Urban Decay Complexion Primer Potion - £10
Urban Decay is one of my all time favourite make-up brands and I’ve never been disappointed by a single product I’ve tried from the brand. I think this primer potion is perfect for travelling as it’ll fit so easily into your make-up bag as it is travel size. This primer is paraben free and helps to minimize the look of pores and fine lines. I’m really enjoying using this at the moment!

What do you think of this months Cohorted box? Have you tried any of these products before?

You can subscribe to Cohorted Beauty Boxes from £35 a month here.
