Beauty: Smashbox Photo Finish Radiance Primer Review

Smashbox Photo Finish Radiance Primer - £30

One thing I’ve learn t about make up is that it’s better to invest in good products then trial and error. I’ve found that once I’ve found a brand I love, I tend to trust their products a lot more. For instance some of my favourite (higher end) make up brands are MAC, Urban Decay, Bare Minerals, Estee Lauder and Smashbox.

Smashbox Photo Finish Radiance Primer - £30

Smashbox has recently launched a new radiance primer and as I’d run out of my last primer, I knew I had to try this. Smashbox have developed this primer to recreate that golden glow feel, like the glow you’d feel if you were doing a professional photoshoot. The formula of the primer is satin smooth and it leaves your skin feeling illuminated, looking radiant and it’s really hydrating as well.

I’ve been using this over a week now and I sometimes mix this in with my foundation for an all over glow, but I mainly just use this as a primer. This primer is packed with hyaluronic acid and shea butter (which means it doesn’t dry out your skin either!) I’ve found that when I use this my pores are visibly reduced too.

With this primer my make up really does last all day and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and looking dewy. What’s also great about this primer is that you can use it over your make-up to as a subtle highlighter. Who doesn’t love a two in one product?! I picked this up in Boots and at the moment you can get £5 worth of advantage card points when you pick this up (YASSS!) so make sure you pick it up here.

Have you tried this primer yet? Are you a fan of Smashbox products?

I looked at this when browsing Boots online but thought it wouldn't suit my combination skin but now I'm intrigued :) x

Ooh I like that it is hydrating and pore-filling too, like a 2-in-1, it sounds great. Not too keen on the packaging, but at least it's pretty. Amazing photos and post xxx

Wow, smashbox have REALLY stepped up their packaging game compared to the other primers in the soft plastic bottles! This looks much more high end!

Looks good! I have never used a coloured primer before! Mine have all been a clear or white gel like substance. Loving the free points option too!
