Beauty: My Favourite Maybelline Products

Thursday, October 06, 2016

Maybelline products I feel are really underrated in the land of beauty blogging, I feel like other drugstore/budget friendly brands get spoken about more and that Maybelline products are not given the credit where it’s needed. I have found myself over the past 6 months reaching more and more for Maybelline products and I’ve even had to repurchase a few they’ve been so good so I thought it’s time I put together a post showing you all my favourite products from the brand.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr in On and On Bronze - £4.99
I remember picking this up about a year ago thanks to a Vivianna Does Make-up (now TheAnnaEdit) recommendation and I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed. What’s even better about this eye shadow is that it comes in at under £5, which makes it even better! This eye shadow is so easy to use, you add more layers for a better pigmentation and with a bit of Urban Decay Primer Potion this eye shadow will last on your eyes ALL DAY.

When it comes to budget setting sprays, this one is my favourite by far. I think that it may even rival the Urban Decay Setting Spray. I use the Urban Decay version for nights out and evenings out when I need that extra help with making sure my make-up stays on but for daily use, this setting spray from Maybelline does the job. I’m nearly out of this spray and so I’ll need to repurchase it!

Do you suffer from blemishes, under eye bags or just general problems that need concealing? Well this is the budget friendly concealer for you. I personally prefer higher-end concealers such as the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer or the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer but when I need a budget concealer I go for this. It’s perfect for concealing dark circles and spots.

This mascara is probably the only product from Maybelline I seem to read a lot about. I absolutely love using this to create length with my lashes. It’s so easy to apply and adds volume without giving the ‘clumpy’ look.

If you’re looking for an eye shadow palette and you’re a brown eye shadow fan then this is palette for you and it comes in at under £10! You can easily create daytime and night-time looks and so this palette is perfect for on the go. I love how pigmented these eye shadows are and they’re also super easy to blend. Maybelline have just released the ‘rock nudes’ palette which is current on my beauty wishlist!
Maybelline Master Contour Stick - £6.99
If you’re looking for a simple (and quick) way to contour your face then you need this contour stick in your life. I absolutely love using this, so much so that I’ve nearly run out! I like to apply this after foundation and blending my contour in with my beauty blender (if you’re want a beauty blender for half the price check out EBay here which is where I got mine!)
Maybelline Master Strobing Stick - £6.99
Lastly (even though I forgot to photograph it) I want to mention the strobing stick, which is SO good. I like applying this after using the master contour stick to give my face a natural highlight. This makes your skin look super glowy to which is a total win!
What do you think of Maybelline products? Have you tried out any of these? Do you have any Maybelline recommendations?
