Beauty: Shopping My Beauty Stash #1

Thursday, September 22, 2016

When I’m out and about or on my lunch break at work, I like to check out the Blog Lovin app (if you don’t follow me you can follow me here) and read pretty much every beauty blog post that I can. One thing I noticed cropping up more and more were ‘shopping my stash posts’. I found this sort of post SO interesting and so for the past 2 weeks I’ve set myself the challenge of shopping my own beauty stash and I’ve rediscovered a few products that I seemed to have completely forgotten about!

First up it’s the Topshop Everything Stick. I think this product doesn’t get enough love in the beauty blogging world but this everything stick from Topshop is INSANE. What I like about this is it’s perfect for on the go and this lipstick is a real dupe for Mac Velvet Teddy. So if you’re looking for Mac Velvet Teddy, then pick up this everything stick next time you’re in Topshop.
L’Oreal Miss Manga Mascara - £7.99

If you’re in need of new mascara, which makes your lashes, look more volumised and lengthened, then this mascara is a £7.99 well spent. My tip for this mascara is to apply it to your lashes slowly to create a really lengthened look and this will reduce the chances of the dreaded clumpy look.

Max Factor Masterpiece Nude Palette - £14.99

This eye shadow palette is possibly the most creamy (and pigmented) eye shadow palette that I own. This palette reminds me a lot of the Urban Decay Naked 1 (which is over twice the price of this Max Factor one). I love using this palette when I’m busy or on the go and it’s the perfect size to fit in your handbag.
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Rome - £5.50

If you’re looking for a lip product on a budget you need to try out NYX soft matte lip creams. They’re so easy to use, moisturising on your lips and they come in so many gorgeous colours. Thanks to shopping my stash, I rediscovered my love for this soft matte lip cream in Rome. It’s a gorgeous pink toned nude shade and It’s perfect for everyday wear.

If you’ve read my blog for a long time you’ll know I’m a huge fan of Estee Lauder products and you can check out the post of my favourite products here. One thing I love about when I pick up my Estee Lauder skincare and double wear foundation is that in Boots they occasionally have a Gift with Purchase and thanks to that I discovered this cleanser. I love the idea of GWP offers as they allow you to try out other products from a beauty brand without breaking the bank at the same time. This cleanser feels great on my skin and leaves my skin feeling so smooth.
Have you tried out any of these products? Have you shopped your own beauty stash?

Great post. I'm always testing out new mascaras. The recommendation is super helpful!
