Urban Decay Vice Lipstick Review
New Urban Decay launches are always really exciting. I loved the Gwen Stefani collection and so I was really excited when I found out they were teaming up with Orange Is The New Black star, Ruby Rose.

On June 16th they released 100 new lipsticks (yes 100!) and they come in 6 indulgent finishes. A lot of the shade names were inspired by other Urban Decay products (such as the eye shadows and eye pencils). The finishes of the lipsticks are mega matte, comfort matte, cream, metallized, sheer and sheer shimmer. There are also 50 lip pencils to go with the lipsticks. A few days ago 5 of these shades came through my door and I couldn’t have been more excited to try them out.

First up it’s Backtalk, the finish of this lipstick is a comfort matte. Comfort mattes are creamy and moisturising on the lips. This shade is my favourite out of the 5 shades I own and it’s a gorgeous pink/nude shade. This is a really wearable shade and will suit so many skin tones. I really like this shade, as it’s quite pink but still a nude shade so it stands out against my everyday make-up looks.

Firebird is a cream finish and reminds me a lot of MAC’s rebel. I am always unsure about purple shades in the bullet as they appear quite bright but this shade is perfect for an evening out for when you want to be a little more experimental with a make-up look.

714 reminds me of 714 from the Gwen Stefani collection (I am pretty sure it’s the exact same shade) and it’s a gorgeous wearable red shade. The finish of 714 is a mega matte and the mega matte finish is designed to be long lasting on the lips and incredibly pigmented.

Pandemonium is probably my favourite name for the lipstick but it’s my least favourite colour. For me this is too bright for daily wear but I will probably wear this for clubbing or fancy dress.

Big Bang is such a unique shade as it’s a metallized finish. It reminds me of when I was younger, experimenting with different lip-glosses! It’s so pigmented and a great shade if you’re looking for something alternative to a classic lipstick.

Overall, I really like this collection from Urban Decay. Who doesn’t love picking up a new lipstick?  Out of all the finishes my favourite finish is the mega matte then probably the comfort matte. My favourite colour from the shades I own is Backtalk as it’s the most wearable.

These lipsticks are available now from the Urban Decay site for £15 a lipstick.

What do you think of these lipsticks? Will you be picking up any of these shades?

I've never tried any Urban Decay products before but since i found out that they don't test on animals, i'm writing down a wishlist of everything i need to try from them, these lipsticks are definitely on top of the list! Thank you!

These really do look gorgeous and £15 really isn't too bad for a lipstick, especially Urban Decay, so I expect I will be picking one up in the future x
