Beauty: Cohorted June Edition Review

Cohorted June Beauty Box*

When it comes to surprising me with the contents of a beauty box, Cohorted always do pretty well. I am always so excited when a Cohorted box turns up on my doorstep and each month the contents of the boxes are SO good. If you want to check out last months Cohorted box you can check out my review here.

I’m a little bit late with my review this month due to being on holiday but it has given me even more time to test the products and there are some gems in this months box. This months box was pretty much all make-up (yes!) including NARS, Lord and Berry and HD Brows.

James Read Bronzing Mist (Full size) - £37.50

James Read is a brand that’s popped up in another beauty box recently and seems to be taking over the blogging industry, as all I have been reading at the moment is James Read reviews. Tanning is something I only do when my tan from my holiday begins to fade and it’s always a tricky process. I am no expert tanner but this mist is so light and easy to use. The nozzle dispenses the tan really well and helps eliminate any possibility of streaks. This mist can be layered too if you’re looking for a darker tan.

Lord and Berry Supreme Iridescent Blue Liner (full size) - £12

I’ve noticed in the beauty stores lately that bright eyeliner is a bit of a trend at the moment and it’s never been my cup of tea. However, this navy liner from Lord and Berry is something I could totally get on board with. It’s still incredibly easy to wear as it’s a dark shade but it’s definitely a great alternative to wearing black.

NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Tortola (full size) - £20

I’ve only tried NARS products thanks to Cohorted beauty boxes and so my eyes light up when I open up a Cohorted box and see a NARS treat inside. I was really excited about this shade as it’s a red/orange colour and those of the sorts of colours, which work really well with my skin tone. I think this shade looks great against my skin tone and it’s definitely a lip pencil that’s going to live in my handbag.

HD Brows Palette in Foxy – RRP £25

Being a woman who LOVES getting their eyebrows threaded to make sure my shape is perfect; I was ecstatic when I discovered the palette in this months box. What’s great about this palette is you can use it as an eye shadow too. I love the shade range in this palette but also the fact you can set them with the wax shade.

Overall I really like this months box and my favourite product is the HD Brows palette as it's a multi-use product and it makes my brows look SO good. If you're a fan of higher end (but not really really high-end) beauty products then this is a great box to subscribe too.

What do you think of this months Cohorted box? Have you tried out any of these products?
