Beauty: My Pamper Evening Routine

Sunday, April 10, 2016

If there's one thing I make time for each week it's a pamper session. It's normally on a day where I've not felt so good and need a pick me up. My pamper routine has changed so much in the past few months and I'm so happy with it right now. I use a mixture of products and they leave me feeling refreshed, my skin feeling moisturised and leaves me feeling relaxed.

With being in my final few weeks of my third year of university taking that time out to have a break and some TLC is so important (and it stops me from having a crazy stressed breakdown!) So normally about once a week (or around every 10 days) my pamper evening begins with cooking my favourite food. I won't show you this cause it's already been demolished but I had a chicken BBQ pizza and one of those chocolate puddings with the gooey chocolate inside (which are a total dream!) and a glass of wine of course!

After cooking some yummy food, my pamper routine begins with taking my make-up off and I use a mixture of Garnier Micellar Water and then I finish taking my make-up off by using the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I leave my skin for around 10 minutes at this point and then use a cotton pad and dab a few drops of my Liz Earle Skin Tonic followed by my Liz Earle Moisturiser to finish off my skincare routine.
Some of my favourite products to use at the moment are from Champneys. I've been so impressed with their products and they are a firm staple in my shower (and pamper) routine and such good value for money too. One of my goals for the coming years is to book into a Champneys Spa and have a proper spa weekend!

After using my moisturiser I moisturise my hands using the Champneys Harmonious Hands Restoring Hand and Nail Cream. This is a total bargain of a product as it's only £3! I have one which lives in my handbag too and it smells amazing. Depending on how busy I've been I sometimes use the Champneys Harmonious Hands Restoring Hand Scrub which is perfect for when my hands are feeling a little dry.

At this point I normally turn on Netflix and watch either how to get away with murder or turn on the good wife (depending how I'm feeling) pour a glass of wine, sometimes have a bit of chocolate and just chill. I like painting my nails so much at the moment and my current favourite combination is Nails Inc Marylebone Mews and to let my nails set super quickly (and don't smudge) I use Elegant Touch Nail Apothecary Top Coat.

After a couple of hours of Netflix, wine and painting my nails it's time for bed and before I head to sleep my favourite thing to use at the moment is the Champneys Heavenly Days Sleep Pillow Mist and this stuff is a total dream. I use a few sprays on my pillow and around my bed to ensure I am feeling totally relaxed. This may seem like a total OTT skincare routine but trust me it works!
Have you tried any of these products? What do you like doing to pamper when you're feeling super stressed?
