3 Ways to wear Monochrome Check Trousers

Sunday, April 13, 2014

These trousers are literally my favourite trousers to wear. I've worn them pretty much every week since I got them way back in September. They're perfect for nights-out, lounging around the house in and even for smart workwear.

I love versatile items and this is one of my favourite items in my wardrobe. These trousers also come in Black with white checks and you can buy the same style in this floral check too. Post featuring these trousers have always been quite popular on my blog and so I thought I'd do a post summarising 3 ways I wear them!
Crepe Bralet in Blue - Missguided
Monochrome Square Print Trousers - Missguided(*)
Holographic Clutch Bag - New Look
Shoes - Ebay

I really like this bralet. I also bought it in white too. What's great about this bralet is it's only £9.99! You can also get this bralet in Mint, Black, LilacPink too. I think it's worth picking up a couple of these bralets to take you through to this summer. They all come in such gorgeous colours too. I think this outfit combination is great for a night-out. Especially with a bright lipstick! You can check out the full post here.
Strappy Cut-Out Bralet - Missguided(*) (sold out but Similar Here)
Monochrome Square Print Trousers - Missguided(*)
This is possibly one of my favourite outfits I've ever posted on my blog. I love the fit of this bralet and how the trousers look when they're on. I think this outfit goes perfectly with a bright red lipstick and since posting this outfit in November I've worn this outfit on a night-out a few times and it's one of my fail safe outfits. You can check out the full outfit post here.
Pink Cocktail Blazer - H&M (Similar Here)
White Strappy Bralet - Missguided (sold out but Similar Here)
Monochrome Printed Trousers - Missguided(*)
Chelsea Boots - Ebay (Similar Here)
Radleigh Bag - Marc B(*)

I think this is a great smart/casual outfit. I love how the pink blazer clashes with my white bralet and the trousers too. I love how it's quite a bold outfit but it's also quite smart. You can check out the full outfit post here.

What do you think of these outfits? Which is your favourite? How would you wear these trousers?

I have these trousers but I always seem to struggle with finding ways to wear them. This post has been a massive help though, feeling inspired to dig them out again haha!

Ok so you've sold me. I'm buying these right now. I will be honest though I think you need your cleavage to pull these off - I'm afraid that floaty trousers always make me look out of proportion because I short on curves these days
