Festival Fashion Week Day Two: 5 ways to wear Hunter Wellies

Tuesday, July 12, 2011

Black Hunters are the traditional pair to buy but kindly for these features sponsors have sent me hunters to style for Festival Fashion Week! I've recently got this black pair and I know i'm going to use them for years and years and years.

My black hunters from Wellie Web at only £54 these are an absolute bargain and are perfect to wear year after year.
I've decided to write about 5 ways to wear black hunters (festival style) so you only need to pack the one pair of wellies this summer!
Look Number One

I'm wearing a scalloped shaped vest from Topshop and shorts from Topshop. My leggings are from New Look and my scarf is from ASOS. This is a basic outfit for me which I wear day to day and works perfectly for the festivals. You can update this outfit even more by wearing floral jewellery and headbands! My little sister saw me taking outfit photos and got a pair of wellies on and decided to join in!
Look Number Two

For this outfit I'm wearing the Top I was wearing in Outfit 1 and for the more daring of you festival goers who'd like to stand out from the crowd i'm wearing bright red shorts from Topshop and a new purchase of mine which are these Henry Holland Superstar Black Tights from Tights Please. As seen on musician Jessie J!

They were a great price at only £15 especially if you want to make that fashion statement!
Look Number Three

For this outfit I brought out an old dress I have from Motel Rocks. I'm wearing it with a distressed denim cropped jacket from Desire Clothing. And of course my Hunter Wellies from Wellie-Web.
Look Number Four

For this outfit I'm wearing a Jumpsuit I bought about a month ago from Matalan which has now gone down in price to ONLY £12 it's a real bargain and i've worn this jumpsuit quite a few times this summer already. I featured this jumpsuit in my last week of festival fashion posts and I've teamed it with my denim jacket from Desire Clothing as seen in Outfit 3!
Look Number Five

For this outfit I'm wearing a Black/Pink Floral Strapless Playsuit which is from Desire Clothing! This playsuit was only £20 and i've teamed it with knee highs from Topshop and my mac which I recently bought from Next.co.uk at £40 it's a bit more expensive but it's definitely worth it! It's a coat you can wear year after year and it will suffer wear and tare!
The design of the coat is stylish as you can roll the sleeves up! (yay!) and it's got a great fit and there's no need to buy the size up! I am wearing a size 10 and it fits perfectly. The hood of this coat is great too.

Most festivals are 5 days long so Festival wardrobe sorted?! What do you think of these outfits? Which is your favourite?

I think the 3rd look is my favourite :) but they are all lovely :)
I've got bright pink wellies with little chickens on them from Joules so not quite as chic as classic black Hunters but the child in me loves them! x
